“FULL MOON FESTIVAL NIGHT AT ĐÌNH CHÈM” OF ARTIST NGUYEN TIEN CHUNG (1914 – 1976)

About three years ago, through a friend’s introduction, for the first time, Viet Art View was able to see this painting at its private residence, where the owner kept it. Feeling amazed in the presence of a lacquer painting (three panels) extremely rare, old, large dimension by artist Nguyen Tien Chung. As collectors still respectfully say, “the painting is still in the folk”.

Called “folk” because the painting is still kept, preserved carefully, discreetly, very few people know, because the owner understands better than anyone its value.

Look at the painting, consider its position, historical, artistic, cultural, commercial values, Viet Art View’s objective assessment — this is a work whose calibre must be among the classics (should have) by a famous artist for a specialized national museum or in large private collections.
