With the participation of collectors, fine art critics, media agencies, and art-loving guests.

At the book launching ceremony Modern art in Indochina, author Charlotte Aguttes-Reynier chose to discuss in English instead of French (her native language) because the event space was smaller and the guests might want to interact directly with her in English.

The event took place for nearly two hours with a lot of questions from guests, collectors, newspaper and television reporters with historical questions.

At the end of the launch, Ms Bùi Hoàng Anh – representative of Viet Art View Company – the organizer – gave the author of the book a bouquet. Then the author signed books for guests at the event (who had pre-ordered the book via the link from France) and had a teabreak together.

Just like in Hà Nội, the event in Hồ Chí Minh City took place solemnly, openly, and sincerely in the spirit of exchange, learning, and accessing precious documents from the content of the book Modern art in Indochina.

The event was held at Vy Gallery, Hồ Chí Minh City, is more modest than the space at the Museum of Việt Nam Fine Arts University in Hà Nội, but delegates, guests and press agencies still gave us, the organizers, this favor.

On behalf of the organizers, Viet Art View Company would like to send our deepest and most sincere thanks to all of guests and the media agencies who attended the official launch of the book Modern art in Indochina by author Charlotte Aguttes-Reynier in Hồ Chí Minh City.

Best regards.

Bùi Hoàng Anh – Art Director of Viet Art View
