Mr. Dương Chí Dũng, director of Shanghai Art Investment Fund is very interested in Vietnamese fine arts. Over the years, the fund has invested quite a bit of money in collecting Vietnamese artworks. From the generation of painters at the Indochina Fine Arts College, to the young artists of the 8x, 9x generations later. Before the Covid-19 epidemic, Mr. Dương Chí Dũng still occasionally went to Vietnam, going to the studios of potential young artists or visiting international auction houses to collect Vietnamese paintings. The view of the fund is very clear when they consider this as a commercial investment channel like many other investment. Therefore, they choose Vietnam as an attractive cultural investment destination with great development potential.
